We are looking for companion to help an active 72-year-old male who is looking for support to attend social activities and to suggest ideas as to how he may access activities within the community. He enjoys going out for lunches, trying new things and has a keen interest in ice hockey.He is registered blind in one eye and partially sighted in the other, deaf and has vascular dementia.You must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having previous experience of providing care to clients with related conditions would be advantageous but not essential.Working hours can be flexible and can be discussed further at interview.
